The Organic Coffee Growers of Oaxaca (CORO) co-op, with over 2,500 producers from six indigenous ethnic groups in regions like Cañada, Costa, Istmo, Mixtec, Papaloapan, Sierra Norte, and Sierra Sur, produces this strictly high grown (SHG) coffee. The blend includes varieties like Bourbon, Caturra, Catuai, Marsellesa, Sarchimor, and Typica. Its flavors perfectly match my roasting goals of creating a unpretentious, balanced, clean, and delicious coffee.
This coffee was certified as organic at origin by Mayacert and imported under the National Organic Program (NOP). It was not roasted in a certified-organic roasting facility. Learn more here.
